This month the Hidden in the Stacks Book Group will read and discuss The Whistling Season by Ivan Doig.

Told in flashbacks to 1909 Montana, this novel features a widower with three sons who hires a housekeeper advertised as, "Can't cook but doesn't bite." How will the lives of the family, and the entire town, be changed by this spirited woman and her know-it-all brother?

Free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the Circulation Desk of the Central Library.
