This month the Nonfiction Book Group will read and discuss "Under the Banner of Heaven: A Story of Violent Faith" by Jon Krakauer.

Members of an outlaw sect of the Mormon Church have committed heinous acts of murder in the name of their faith. Krakauer investigates what caused these killers to cloak their deeds in the guise of religious obligation and the role polygamy and fundamentalism played in the crimes.

Free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the Circulation Desk of the Central Library.
