Deep Dive Book Group @ William Hall
This month the Deep Dive Book Group will read and discuss "The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead.
Whitehead imagines the Underground Railroad as an actual physical mechanism by which slaves in the American South can escape their enslavement. Will Cora and Caesar make it far enough to live the rest of their lives in freedom?

The Deep Dive Book Group reads three works by a particular author, one title per month for three months in a row, for a closer look at what makes this author so appealing. Titles will include a mix of classic or contemporary fiction and nonfiction. Participating patrons will have an opportunity to add their favorite authors into the mix.
