URI Master Gardeners: Seed Starting @ Central

URI Master Gardeners: Seed Starting @ Central

Part One of a Three-Part Series
Part Two | Part Three

Seed Starting is an inexpensive way to get a jump start on your garden. Learn what conditions are optimum for germination of seeds, what is the best growing media, how to use recyclable containers, how to care for seedlings, and the all-important hardening-off process before planting outdoors.  Participants will receive a copy of the URI Planting Calendar.

Free and open to the public. Register below to receive email reminders of the event or contact the library for assistance.

The URI Master Gardener Program will send an evaluation survey following the event. Those who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle for a free grab bag of seeds!
