The Other Book Group @ Central
This month the The Other Book Group will read and discuss the book "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow Is Enuf" by Ntozake Shange.
Described as passionate and fearless, Ntozake Shange’s award-winning play reveals the wide-ranging experiences and meanings of what it is to be a woman of color in the 20th century. First published in 1975, inspired, and transformed audiences all over the country for nearly fifty years.
We will be giving away 12 free copies of this months book selection. First come, first serve. Free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required.
