Nonfiction Book Group @ Central

Nonfiction Book Group @ Central

This month the Nonfiction Book Group will read and discuss "The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War" by Malcolm Gladwell.

After the dehumanizing brutalities of World War I, military leaders thought precision bombing would be the "war of the future." What roles did "a Dutch genius, a band of brothers in central Alabama, a British psychopath, and pyromaniacal chemists at Harvard" play in working towards this goal?

Free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration is required. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the Circulation Desk of the Central Library.
