Reading in the Hall Book Discussion @ Hall

Reading in the Hall Book Discussion @ Hall

This month we are reading and discussing The Wangs vs. the World by Jade Chang.

A hilarious debut novel about a wealthy but fractured Chinese immigrant family that had it all, only to lose every last cent--and about the road trip they take across America that binds them back together. Outrageously funny and full of charm, The Wangs vs. the World is an entirely fresh look at what it means to belong in America--and how going from glorious riches to (still name-brand) rags brings one family together in a way money never could"-- Provided by publisher.

Reading in the Hall Book Discussion is held at the William Hall Library on the 4th Wednesday of each month. A staff librarian leads the discussion. Copies of the book are available for checkout at the Hall circulation desk or can be requested for pickup at another location. All are welcome. Please register to get on our email list.
