The Train Wreck that Changed Time @ Central

The 1853 Valley Falls, RI train collision between two Providence & Worcester passenger trains instigated major changes to railroad safety and public timekeeping in the U.S. The daguerrotype of which "went viral" in its time. It is known as the first train wreck ever photographed.
