We Got This: An Evening with Elissa Kalver @ William Hall

We Got This: An Evening with Elissa Kalver @ William Hall

Join author, speaker, and founder of WeGotThis.org, Elissa Kalver, for an inspiring evening of conversation, reading, and reflection from her debut book, "We Got This: How I Learned to Thrive with Terminal Cancer."

At 34, Elissa was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer just before her daughter’s first birthday. In the midst of treatment, she launched WeGotThis.org, the first nonprofit gift registry for cancer patients — a platform built to help Thrivers and their supporters give and receive exactly what’s needed during one of life’s hardest journeys.

Now, Elissa shares her powerful story of resilience, purpose, and hope. Through humor, honesty, and heart, she reminds us that even in the most uncertain moments, we can still find connection, meaning, and joy.

Following the talk and reading, guests will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A and book signing. Books may be purchased for $29.00 for cash, check, credit, debit, or mobile device.

Free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but those who register at least three days prior to the event will receive an email reminder. Register below or contact the library for assistance.
