Birds All Around Us Program @ Central

Birds All Around Us Program @ Central

There are birds all around us, even in the winter. Join us to learn about how we can help our feathered friends this winter with the RI Audubon
Society
. They will bring a bird that you can see up close too! Learn more about the mission of the RI Audubon Society.

We'll show a short film about how the people of Iceland help 'baby' puffins, known as pufflings, get back on track on their first flights!

This program is made possible though the STAR Library Network and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios through their Flight Path Program. The Flight Path program aims to educate the public about bird migration, promote bird health and safety and encourage people to learn about local birds.

Please register to allow for enough chairs and supplies for a few simple bird-related hands-on activities.
