Help Birds Fly South @ Central

Help Birds Fly South @ Central

Why do birds need help to fly south? At this program you'll learn how you can help birds migrate by changing a few simple things around your home! We'll have some hands-on activity stations provided by the Flight Path grant the library applied for and received. We'll explore how birds know when and where to migrate, which species stay nearby during the colder months and ways to support them.

We'll also welcome Congress of the Birds, a local wildlife rehabilitation group. We'll learn whyCongress of the Birds wildlife rehabilitation program logo birds get injured during migration and how we can help them on their journeys.
