America's Tapestry @ Central

America's Tapestry @ Central

On July 4th 2026, our nation will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. All over the United States, communities will be holding events to illustrate and mark our unique history, and to look forward to our next 250 years.

Cranston’s 250 Commission is pleased to bring America’s Tapestry to Cranston!  Be a part of history and help embroider a 3’ by 5’ linen tapestry to help celebrate next year’s 250th birthday of the United States.  The panel depicts a lesser known scene of Rhode Island’s involvement in the American Revolution.  All are welcome to participate.  Directions for embroidery will be provided along with all supplies. No registration required.
