Presenter Michelle Wilson
has a background in public health. She has lived in Rhode Island most of her life and loves the state's dedication to arts and culture.  “A Taste of African Heritage” is very much part of this connection. More than just a healthy eating program, it provides an opportunity to connect with RI's culinary scene. Michelle has been teaching this program for about a year and really enjoys watching participants find so much in common with the healthy eating traditions of the African diet.
