Join us as musicians Dean Plowman and LeWayne Fisher talk about the evolution of pop music and play songs that illustrate the genre. This is the third program in a three-part series. There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.

Presenters Dean Plowman and LeWayne Fisher have been musicians for most of their lives and are currently professors at Johnson and Wales University and the New England Institute of Technology.
Dean has studied classical, jazz, and rock and has performed with groups like The Neighborhoods, Down City, Driftway Jazz, and has done his own solo and duet work. He continues to hone his skills by completing coursework at Berklee College of Music and by actively gigging and teaching. Dean is an instructor of music at Bedrossian Music.
LeWayne grew up in Indiana and played over a 100 shows a year with the classic rock band Cadillac Ranch. He also performed with the Mark Van Cleave Jazz Orchestra before moving to New England in 2011, where he has played with the country band Smoke and Ginger, the rock band Next Stop, and with jazz groups Project Flynn, Expresso, and the Frank Castle Trio.
