A Ghastly Evening of Maritime Misfortune in the Ocean State @ William Hall
Thousands of vessels came to grief in Rhode Island's waters through bad weather, human error, equipment failure, and military action. Some of these shipwrecks were epic disasters, with many fatalities and the total loss of the vessels; others were relatively minor misfortunes in which the ships were salvageable. Come see the dramatic pictures and hear the fascinating stories of a select sample of our state's most ghastly (for the spooky season) shipwrecks!
Free and open to the public. Those who choose to register will receive an email reminder three days before the event. Register below or contact the library for assistance.
