Reading in the Hall Book Group @ William Hall
This month the Reading in the Hall Book Group will read and discuss "Ms. Demeanor" by Elinor Lipman.
"Jane is a valued member of her law firm until a prudish neighbor, binoculars poised, observes her having sex on the roof of her NYC apartment building. Sentenced to six months of home confinement, jobless, and trapped at home, life looks bleak. When a doorman lets slip that Jane isn't the only resident wearing an ankle monitor, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with this unusual neighbor. But why are police knocking on Jane's door again?" (Adapted from Ocean State Libraries catalog)
Free and open to the public. Space is limited so registration is required. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the William Hall Circulation Desk.
