"My Heart is an Abstraction" by Richard Forand @ Central
Come celebrate the artwork of Richard Forand at the Cranston Central Library James T. Giles Community Room on September 18th from 5:00-7:45pm. His show "My heart is an Abstraction" will be on display through September 29th.
Richard Forand is a Massachusetts native currently living in Cranston, Rhode Island. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, and his Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
"My artwork presents a struggle between shadowy archetypal imagery expressed in black and the inner light represented in color. The two forces are integrated into a dance, a celebration."
