Knit & Crochet Drop-In @ William Hall
Do you knit or crochet and want to do something to help others? Join the Knit & Crochet Drop-In and learn how you can make a blanket for Project Linus or work on your own project. This is not a class but a space for people who like to knit or crochet to come together.
Free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but you will receive email reminders about the event by registering. Use the form below or contact the library for assistance.
Become a “Blanketeer”
Project Linus volunteers, known as “blanketeers,” provide new handmade, washable blankets to be given as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18. It is Project Linus' policy to accept blankets of all sizes, depending on local chapter needs. All blanket styles are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. Always remember that blankets must be new or handmade, washable, free of pins, and come from smoke-free environments due to allergy reasons.
