Reading in the Hall Book Group @ William Hall

Reading in the Hall Book Group @ William Hall

This month the Reading in the Hall Book Group will read and discuss "Solito: A Memoir" by Javier Zamora. This is the 2024 Reading Across Rhode Island selection for the annual one state, one book reading initiative.

A nine-year-old boy from a small village in El Salvador faces numerous dangers and forges unexpected bonds as he attempts to reunite with his parents who have already settled in California. Told by the author, an award-winning poet, as he looks back on his unbelievable journey.

Free and open to the public. Space is limited so registration is encouraged. To register click the button below or contact the library for assistance. Copies of the book will be available to pick up at the William Hall Circulation Desk. Please note that large print copies of this title are not currently available.

Visit cranstonlibrary.org/book-groups to learn about other CPL book groups.

Reading in the Hall Book Group is held at the William Hall Library on the 4th Wednesday of each month (with some exceptions). Be sure to register to get on our email list.
