We the Readers: A Live Banned Books Event @ William Hall

Join the ACLU of RI for a celebration of Freedom of Speech, at our in-person event during Banned Books Week. We host a panel of authors who read from books that have frequently been banned across the nation, followed by a Q&A.

On October 3, you'll be able to hear from our wonderful panel of guest authors:

  • Adam Braver
  • Tina Cane
  • Victoria Dalpe
  • Anika Aldamuy Denise
  • Eleni Sikelianos
  • Mike Stanton

Free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but you will receive email reminders about the event by registering. Please click the button below or contact the library for assistance.

This event is part of Cranston Public Library's Banned Books Week programming. You may also be interested in the panel discussion "The Freedom to Read: Challenges to Intellectual Freedom Then and Now" taking place on Wednesday, October 4 at 6:00 PM at the Central Library.
