Make Your Own Magic: Meditative Candle Dressing @ Central

Make Your Own Magic: Meditative Candle Dressing @ Central

In this session we will practice simple meditation, develop your own personal mantra and sigil, and take you through the ancient art of candle dressing. You will design and finish your own candle based on your own thoughts and needs to remind you of your power each time you light it. This program is intended for teens entering grades 6-12 and registration is required.

Teens are invited to explore self care and mindfulness in three sessions: meditative candle dressing, Tarot readings, and wearable crystals. Understanding the importance of self care and setting aside time for yourself is essential in alleviating stress and depression, and bringing call in the chaos by remembering who you are and your capabilities. In these sessions with artists and activists, Rebels And Outlaws, you will learn tools to help you make your mark, find your voice and remind people and yourself who you are and how important that is. Registration is required for each individual session and space is limited. This program is funded by the One Cranston Health Equity Zone.
