There Is No GPS for Grief @ Central

Dr. Mari Nardolillo Dias, the “Grief Whisperer,” will teach the essentials for understanding and navigating grief. Dr. Dias will provide a visual overview of the types of grief and grieving, including traumatic and complicated grief, and will discuss the effects of grief on the brain. A question and answer period will follow. Copies of her books, GriefSPEAK Stories of Loss, Vol. 1 and GriefSPEAK Stories of Loss, Vol. 2 will be available for sale and signing.

Mari Nardolillo Dias
is a full professor holding a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership, and an FT (Fellow in Thanatology). She is a nationally-certified counselor and holds certificates in grief counseling and complicated grief. She is the director of North Kingstown's GracePointe Grief Center.
